Who is responsible

What we collect

This website has no analytics, advertising, tracking or contact forms.

• Emails you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message and contact details to reply and to manage our relationship with you.
• Technical logs. Our hosting provider records basic technical information, such as IP addresses and the time of each request, to keep the website secure and running.
• Private areas. If we have given you access to a private area of the site, we use the email address you enter to check your access and to mark the pages you view with it, and we keep a record of when the area was opened.
• Cookies. We use only strictly necessary cookies. If you enter the passcode for our letters, one cookie remembers that for 30 days. If you sign in to a private area, one cookie keeps you signed in for 12 hours. Neither is used for tracking.

Why we use it

We rely on our legitimate interests in running a secure website and responding to people who contact us.

Who we share it with

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., which processes technical data on our behalf and may do so outside the United Kingdom under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as needed for the purpose it was sent and our legal obligations. Hosting logs are kept by our provider for a limited period.
